Tsavo East & West 3 Days Safari
Day 1: Nairobi to Tsavo West National Park Safari
At 7am, set off from Nairobi to Tsavo West (5 hours drive) through scenic vegetated plains to arrive in time for a sumptuous lunch at the camp.
Depart for an afternoon game drive to sight the ‘Man Eaters of Tsavo’ and the red dust coated elephants that stride the plains and catch them at watering points along the Tsavo River in the evening. Black rhinos come into your view as they similarly jostle for a drink of water. Tsavo West is a beautifully rugged savannah ecosystem with belts of riverine vegetation, crystal clear waters out of Mzima Springs and the sculptures of lava rock formation.
Day 2: Tsavo West National Park to Tsavo East National Park
After breakfast, check out and head out to Tsavo East while enjoying wildlife presence along the route.
You will come along more elephants, rhinos, buffalo among other larger mammals in a landscape that also boosts prolific birdlife with over 500 species.
Arrive in time for lunch at the camp, then head out for an afternoon game drive with views along Galana River and the extensive Yatta plateau, the longest lava flow in the world at 300kms.
Day 3: Tsavo East National Park to Nairobi OR Mombasa
Enjoy breakfast, check out and proceed for morning game drive.
There is a choice of getting back to Nairobi or heading down to Mombasa to start off on a beach experience. Either way, our guide will drop you off at Voi terminal to catch the train.
