Terms & Conditions

Safari Bookings: All safari bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Rapt Safaris Ltd. To book a safari, customers must provide a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total safari cost at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid 60 days before the safari start date.

Safari Itinerary: Rapt Safaris Ltd will provide the customer with a mutually agreed detailed safari itinerary, including accommodations, meals, transportation, and activities. While we make every effort to adhere to the itinerary, it may be necessary to make changes due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather, road conditions, or other events beyond our control.

Accommodations: Rapt Safaris Ltd will arrange accommodations for the customer based on the safari itinerary. Accommodations may be subject to change due to availability or other circumstances beyond our control. We will make every effort to provide accommodations of a similar or higher standard.

Transportation: Rapt Safaris Ltd will arrange transportation for the customer based on the safari itinerary. Transportation may include a safari vehicle, domestic flights, or other modes of transportation. While we make every effort to provide safe and comfortable transportation, it may be necessary to make changes due to unforeseen circumstances.

Travel Documents and Requirements: It is the customers responsibility to obtain and carry all necessary travel documents, such as passports, visas, and vaccination certificates, for the tour. Rapt Safaris is not responsible for any expenses or losses incurred due to incomplete or incorrect travel documents. The customer must also comply with all local laws, regulations, and customs of the destinations visited during the tour.

Safari Guides: Rapt Safaris Ltd will provide a professional safari guide for the duration of the safari. Our guides are knowledgeable and experienced in the areas visited during the safari. We make every effort to provide the best available safari guide.

Safari Rules: Customers are expected to follow the rules and guidelines set forth by Rapt Safaris Ltd and the safari destinations visited during the safari. Failure to do so may result in termination of the safari without a refund.

Safari Insurance: Customers are required to obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellation, and other unforeseen circumstances. Rapt Safaris Ltd recommends that customers purchase travel insurance that specifically covers safari activities.

Safari Risks: Safari activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to, wildlife encounters, exposure to extreme weather conditions, and physical exertion. Customers are responsible for assessing their own physical and mental ability to participate in safari activities.

Safari Cancellations: If a customer cancels their safari, the following cancellation policy applies:

Cancellation more than 60 days before the start date: Rapt Safaris Ltd will retain the non-refundable deposit.

Cancellation between 30 and 60 days before the start date: Rapt Safaris Ltd will retain 50% of the total safari cost.

Cancellation less than 30 days before the start date: Rapt Safaris Ltd will retain 100% of the total safari cost.

If Rapt Safaris Ltd cancels a safari, the customer will receive a full refund of any payments made.

Safari Liability: Rapt Safaris Ltd is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense that results from the customer’s participation in safari activities, or missed flights or connections. Customers participate in safari activities at their own risk. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, actions, or damages arising from your participation in the tour.

Health and Safety: We prioritize the health and safety of our customers, and we take all necessary precautions to ensure a safe and enjoyable tour. However, you acknowledge and accept that travel involves certain risks and uncertainties, including accidents, illness, and other unforeseen events. You must comply with all safety instructions and regulations provided by our tour guides and staff, and you must inform us of any medical conditions or special requirements before the tour.

Force Majeure: Rapt Safaris Ltd is not liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these terms and conditions if such failure or delay is caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, war, or terrorism.

Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of Kenya.

Changes to the Terms and Conditions: Rapt Safaris Ltd reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. We will notify customers of any changes to the terms and conditions via email or by posting a notice on our website. Customers are responsible for reviewing the updated terms and conditions. Continued use of our services after any changes to the terms and conditions constitutes acceptance of the updated terms and conditions.

Entire Agreement: These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the customer and Rapt Safaris Ltd and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the safari services provided by Rapt Safaris Ltd.

By booking a safari with Rapt Safaris Ltd, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
