Nairobi – Lake Nakuru: 3 Days Safari
Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park
Start the day with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi, and embark on a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley. Take in the stunning views of the valley as you make your way to Lake Nakuru National Park. Upon arrival, check-in to your lodge and enjoy a hearty lunch. In the afternoon, head out on your first game drive in the park, and as the sun begins to set, return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Lake Nakuru
Wake up early and enjoy a scrumptious breakfast before embarking on a morning game drive in the park. This is the perfect time to spot predators such as lions and leopards, as well as a wide variety of birdlife that the park is famous for. After the game drive, return to your lodge for a leisurely lunch and some downtime to relax. Later in the afternoon, head out on another game drive to further explore the park and spot any wildlife you may have missed earlier in the day.
Day 3: Lake Nakuru National Park to Nairobi
On the final day of your safari, enjoy an early morning game drive in the park before returning to your lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, check-out of your lodge and start your journey back to Nairobi. Along the way, stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to take in the stunning panoramic views of the valley. Upon arrival in Nairobi, your driver will drop you off at your hotel or the airport, depending on your travel plans.
