Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a world-renowned wildlife sanctuary located in central Kenya. It is a popular destination for tourists and is the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa.
The conservancy is also home to the two last known Northern White Rhinos. There are plenty of activities to enjoy at Ol Pejeta, such as guided game drives that take visitors through the vast plains in search of the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard.
You can also opt for a walking safari with a trained ranger to explore the flora and fauna up close. For a unique experience, visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary to see the endangered primates and learn about their conservation efforts.
It is the only place in Kenya you can see chimpanzees. The Morani Information Center offers an opportunity to learn about the local culture and history of the area.
