Nairobi-Samburu 7 Days Safari
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where our safari guide will meet and transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, depart for Samburu National Reserve (approximately 6 hours)
Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch and relaxation before embarking on an afternoon game drive.
Day 3: Game Drives in Samburu National Reserve
Enjoy an early morning game drive in the reserve and return to the lodge for breakfast. Relax at the lodge with a swim or otherwise and then have lunch before heading out for afternoon game drive.
Day 4: Samburu to Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park (approximately 5 hours drive). The arrival befits time for lunch before pulling out for a game drive at the park. The game drive ends with a sunset galore before returning to the lodge.
Day 5: Game Drives at Lake Nakuru National Park
Wake up early and enjoy a scrumptious breakfast before embarking on a morning game drive in the park. This is the perfect time to spot predators such as lions and leopards, as well as a wide variety of birdlife that the park is famous for. After the game drive, return to your lodge for a leisurely lunch and some downtime to relax. Later in the afternoon, head out on another game drive to further explore the park and spot any wildlife you may have missed earlier in the day.
You will return late in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara
After breakfast, check out for the trip to Maasai Mara (approximately 5 hours drive). Arrive to have lunch and check in at the lodge in Maasai Mara before embarking on an afternoon game drive. Maasai Mara is a world-renowned game reserve with opportunity to view the Big Five with fascinating wild surprises around the stunning landscape.
Return to camp and overnight.
Day 7: Game Drives in Maasai Mara
This day you will enjoy a full day of game drives at one of the greatest wildlife reserves. After breakfast, proceed on a game drive in the reserve to enjoy the wilderness, wallow in the fascinating landscape and view diverse wildlife bestriding this natural habitat. The great attraction of the Wildebeest migration across the Mara River occurs between July and September.
With packed lunch, enjoy a picnic out in the bush and continue discovering more views and sights.
Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Departure
Start the journey back home in the best way possible with an early morning game drive. Return to the lodge for breakfast and then depart for Nairobi but not without a stopover lunch and eventually drop off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for flight back home.
