Lake Nakuru – Ol Pejeta 5 Days Safari
Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart Nairobi for Lake Nakuru National Park (drive is approximately 4 hours) through the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Enjoy a great view and a photo session at a stop over overlooking the escarpment below.
You will arrive in time to the delight of a sumptuous lunch. Unwind and then embark on an afternoon game drive in one of the places to see a wide range of birds and mammals including the Big Five. Return to camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Game Drives at Lake Nakuru National Park
This is a great full day to view wildlife and the landscapes at the park and around the lake. Either wake up and head out for an early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast or start off with breakfast before proceeding for a game drive. You will return to the lodge and relax before a delightful lunch. Unwind some more with a plunge into the swimming pool and then later enjoy an afternoon game drive around the park and the lake famed for its flamingos.
Dinner and overnight
Day 3: Lake Nakuru to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Laikipia
After breakfast, check out for the trip to Ol Pejeta Conservancy (approximately 4 hours drive). Arrive to have lunch and check in to the lodge in before embarking on an afternoon game drive. Ol Pejeta is a world renowned conservancy with the only place to see chimpanzees in Kenya at the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. You will be welcomed into more fascinating wild surprises in the vast conservancy.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Game Drives at Ol Pejeta Conservancy
This day you will enjoy a full day of game drives. After breakfast, proceed on a game drive in the conservancy to enjoy the wilderness, wallow in the fascinating landscape and view diverse wildlife bestriding this natural habitat. It is a great attraction of a wide array of wildlife as the animals roam the landscape and you continue discovering more views and sights. After lunch, relax and soak it all in before another escapade into the wilderness on an afternoon game drive.
Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Ol Pejeta to Nairobi
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and set off once again for morning game drive with the sunrise unfolding and Mt Kenya arising in the background, on a good clear weather day.
On the return to Nairobi, enjoy lunch at a stopover to get back to the city later in the evening.
