14 Days "Off the Beaten Path" Safari

Day 1: Arrival

Arrive in Nairobi, Kenya’s vibrant capital city. Transfer to your accommodation and rest after your journey.

Day 2: Nairobi National Park

Begin your safari with a visit to Nairobi National Park, located just outside the city. Enjoy a game drive to spot wildlife such as lions, giraffes, and rhinos against the backdrop of Nairobi’s skyline.

Day 3 & 4: Amboseli National Park

Depart for Amboseli National Park, famous for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Spend two days exploring the park, with game drives to see large herds of elephants, wildebeests, and zebras. Visit Observation Hill for panoramic views of the park and Kilimanjaro.

Day 5 & 6: Tsavo West National Park

Journey to Tsavo West National Park, one of Kenya’s largest and most diverse parks. Explore the park’s varied landscapes, from volcanic hills to savannah plains. Visit Mzima Springs to see hippos and crocodiles underwater and explore the lava flows of the Shetani caves.

Day 7 & 8: Lake Elementaita

Travel to Lake Elementaita, a lesser-known gem in the Great Rift Valley. Spend your time exploring the beauty of Lake Elementaita and its surroundings. Take guided walks along the shores of the lake, observing the diverse birdlife including flamingos and other species. Consider a boat excursion on the lake for a unique perspective and birdwatching opportunities. Relax and enjoy the serene atmosphere of this picturesque lake, perfect for unwinding and soaking in the natural beauty.

If desired, you can also explore the nearby Soysambu Conservancy, known for its conservation efforts and wildlife sightings.

Day 9: Aberdare National Park

Head to Aberdare National Park, a mountainous haven for wildlife. Spend the day exploring the park’s forests and waterfalls, keeping an eye out for species such as elephant, giraffe and zebra.

Day 10 & 11: Samburu Game Reserve

Continue your journey to Samburu Game Reserve, known for its unique wildlife species. Enjoy game drives to spot the “Samburu Special Five” – Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, and gerenuk. Visit a Samburu village to learn about the culture and traditions of the local tribes.

Day 12 & 13: Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Travel to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a leading conservation area in Kenya. Take part in activities such as rhino tracking, visiting the chimpanzee sanctuary, or enjoying game drives to see the Big Five. Optional night game drive or bush walk for a unique wildlife viewing experience.

Day 14: Departure

Transfer back to Nairobi for your departure and reflect on your incredible safari experiences as you bid farewell to Kenya.
