Visit Amboseli
Departure from Nairobi around 6am for Amboseli (approximately 5 hour drive)
Enjoy game drives at Amboseli, the ‘Home of the African Elephant’ views of Mt Kilimanjaro snow peak, across the border in Tanzania. Mt Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa at 5895m.
At the Observation Hill, you will enjoy a panoramic offering of the mountain peak and the park’s plains and swamps.
Stopover for lunch and unwind before the drive back to Nairobi late in the evening.
Tour of Nairobi
Arise to the morning warmth of Nairobi, the ‘City in the Sun.’
Enjoy an early morning game drive at Nairobi National Park. Then, a visit to David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage for a close experience with orphaned elephants rescued from various parts of the country.
Have lunch, before heading out to hand feed the Rothschild Giraffe at the Giraffe Centre. Thereafter, proceed to Karen Blixen Museum which is also home to the author of ‘Out of Africa’ (and film in the same title).
Day ends with a drop off at the hotel or airport
Lake Nakuru
Set off from Nairobi and come to a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy birds eye view of the escarpment extending miles below.
Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park for game drives to view flamingos, rhinos, lions, giraffe and many bird species in the open grassland plains dotted with bush.
Enjoy lunch and relax before heading back to Nairobi.
